«Through globalisation, large international companies are changing the face of streets all over the world, with the omnipresence of their brands. «Los Logos» initially was a self initiated web project from 2002 to conserve the graphic appearance of the world’s cities. A lot of unique and characteristic local type and logo-artwork has to make room for marketing strategies and corporate design of the global players. Sooner or later, we loose the unique spirit that inherits each city. On Loslogos.org we collected local logo and type design before they disappear and put them together in a virtual city.
The publisher Gestalten loved the project, the name and its logotype and commissioned the brand for their ongoing «Los Logos» series of bestseller logotype compilation books.
